Motorcycle Insurance

Riding season in New York is short. Make the most of it knowing you, your bike, and your gear are covered. We shop multiple carriers to find coverage that fits how you ride.

What it covers

What affects your rate.

Bikes are priced differently than cars. Here's what carriers look at:

The bike you ride and its engine size
Your riding record and years of experience
How you store the bike in the off season
Safety course completion
Bundling with your auto policy

Questions we hear a lot

Do I need insurance in the winter when I'm not riding?

Keep comprehensive on it year round. Theft and fire don't take the winter off. We can adjust coverage for the off season so you're not overpaying.

Is motorcycle insurance expensive?

Usually less than people expect, especially with an experienced rider discount or a safety course behind you. We'll shop it and show you.

Are my helmet and gear covered?

They can be. Some carriers include gear coverage and some treat it as an add-on. We'll make sure it's in there.

Does my auto policy cover my motorcycle?

No. A motorcycle needs its own policy. But insuring both with us usually earns a multi-policy discount.
